Two Can Play

Trevor Rhone's play is one that brings many emotions to life. One that really popped out was the emasculation of Gloria's talents from Jim. I couldn't believe that a being like him could exist. One that caused so much disgust and so much distaste for the reader. I wanted to get into those pages and teach him a lesson, in fact I wanted to teach both of them a lesson. I was mad that Jim treated Gloria as he did, but I was also mad that Gloria let him. When she knew how to survive by herself and went to live to United States, I was happy for her, because she had gotten out of that marriage that would only end up killing her emotionally, but when she came back to Jamaica, I asked why? She suffered through enough and to go back to that was just playing silly. But she knew what aawaited for her and I was happy that she told Jim off and, I wasn't much in agreement that she stayed with Jim, but if she still loved him, then she shouldn't let anything stand in her way. I liked how she exceeded and how she put her foot down. Also towards the end Jim learned how much he needed Gloria in his life, and that meant that he had changed, simbolizing that sometimes people might change for the better.
