Reading this final act was very revealing for me, because we saw Nora and Torvald show their true colors as they say. Nora was revealed to be a liar, because she hid the truth from her husband when he was sick in bed and she had to sustain the family all by herself. In truth I admire her on this fact because for a woman in that era to look for a way to commit fraud and then hide it for the time she did, it was just genius. Torvald on the other hand, always throughout the play showed to be a loving husband who would have given his life for his wife, reproched her for what she did, even if she did it out of love for him. I think that he felt that in part he was a little emasculated by his wife and that placed him in a position of vulnerability and humiliation. Nora towards the end became selfish, which I think was good considering the position in which she was left in front of her friends and family. Sometimes in life we have to be a little selfish so we can continue in life and do things correctly, which in the end will satisfy everybody, turning our selfish action into a selfless act. By leaving home Nora showed that she was willing to rectify her mistakes and if that she had to give up all that she loved for their sake being, then she loved them more because she allowed them to move on, and so did she with her life.
